UGC NET Paper 1 Higher Education System: Detailed Study Notes
Unit 10 usually carries about five questions (ten marks). These notes follow the six official topics in syllabus order, from ancient centres of learning to NEP 2020 governance, then add the colonial and constitutional background, a one-page timeline and number sheet, and a checklist of facts to verify. Topics 2 (commissions and the UGC) and 6 (policy and governance) produce the most questions and change the most often, so give them the most time.
